Lighting controls offer the opportunity to enhance space flexibility, improving maintenance cycles, balance the visual environment, and improve user satisfaction while saving significant amounts of energy. Designing and implementing high quality control systems can also help to differentiate contractors and designers in a competitive marketplace. This class will build on the foundation of our one and two day Networked Lighting Controls classes by examining controls that may be effectively applied to areas of specific interest to the warehousing environment including light fabrication, shipping and storage. We will consider how networked lighting controls may help to improve worker perception and productivity. We will also discuss how lighting controls implementation may relate to current research regarding light and health, circadian entrainment, and shift workers. Who Should Attend Some working knowledge of the lighting and construction industries will be necessary to gain the most value from this workshop. It is recommended that participants review the recorded fundamentals of Networked Lighting Controls Class online found here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Y3logJxHsTY&feature=youtu.be Learning Objectives At the end of the class, participants will:
