Founded over 30 years ago, Lighting Design LDL (LDL) is a center of innovation helping Seattle City Light and northwest utilities effectively engage with the regional design and construction communities. With core funding from Seattle City Light and support from a public-private partnership, LDL is a hub for regional collaboration, supporting market deployment of emerging technologies.

LDL staff are industry leaders with unique expertise in lighting technology and design, experience in training and education, knowledge of utility programs and policy, and a successful track record of supporting innovative projects across the Pacific Northwest.

Lighting Support

Lighting services consist of LDL staff performing project consultations and computer modeling. These professional services can greatly benefit end-use customers and support utility program goals.

Utility program support services consist of LDL staff working on behalf of utilities to provide program design, data analysis, policy guidance and more. These professional services are aimed at helping utilities optimize their investment in reaching savings goals and exceeding customer expectations.
