Seattle City Light is partnering with Seattle Parks and Recreation to implement a microgrid project at Miller Community Center, located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood. The project will include the installation of a battery energy storage system, solar panels and microgrid controls. Join us in this special presentation by City Light’s Bianca Smith and Uzma Siddiqi from the Electrification and Strategic Technologies division (EST) as we walk the audience through the design and benefits as well as the community value of City Light's first Microgrid! The site will be a test bed for storage and grid technology as a key part of City Light's Grid Modernization strategic plan.

Get updates on this and other community projects from City Light's site.
