COURSE DESCRIPTION FROM CITY LIGHT:

Get training on the new DER Interconnection Handbook. This training will cover what is in the Handbook and what needs to be done to apply for and have a DER (solar, battery storage) interconnected to City Light’s grid. The Handbook will be published on January 2, 2026 and takes effect immediately.

LEARNING OBJECTIVES
After attending this webinar, attendees will be able to:
  • Describe the purpose of the DER Interconnection Handbook and key changes ​
  • Identify the phases of the DER interconnection process ​
  • Describe DER requirements for installers and customers ​
  • Support DER customers with compliance with City Light requirements, including DER inverter settings and attestations​
  • Locate key documents like the new interconnection agreements and attestation forms
