The building industry is changing its design and construction practices to produce more efficient buildings that produce fewer (or no) greenhouse gas emissions.

In this webinar, innovators from PAE’s Regenerative Design Group present building electrification as a key pathway to building decarbonization along with strategies to comply with new regulations. This session details the barriers to building electrification and applies MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing) technology and smart design strategies to achieve cost-conscious, carbon-efficient, all-electric buildings.

The presenters show examples of successful all-electric projects including historic retrofits, offices, schools, and portfolio strategies.

What will be learned

  • Why building electrification is key to a carbon neutral future
  • How to overcome all-electric design barriers
  • Understand building technologies used in all-electric buildings
  • Embodied carbon considerations
